Ingredients:
- 225 grams spaghetti
- 1 can (400 grams) crushed tomatoes
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 5 ml olive oil
- 5 ml dried basil
- 5 ml dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish (if in the budget)
Instructions:
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and garlic, sauté until translucent.
- Add crushed tomatoes, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve the marinara sauce over cooked spaghetti. Top with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
