Health Minister Aaron Motsoaldei recently said that since the government intensified the battle against HIV/Aids, South Africa has "definitely turned a corner" against the disease. Yet the number of people living with HIV/Aids in South Africa has increased to about 6.4 million (an increase from 10.6% in 2008 to 12.3% in 2012).
