Creativity is one of the most important human resources. Without creativity there will be little progress, and we would be forever busy repeating the same patterns.
When used in the context of the office, the word "power" usually conjures up images of force and control over others. Personal power, however, does not relate to either and, rather than controls, it influences people.
The one factor that will probably have the most influence on where your career or work life will lead, is something that is somewhat beyond your control: your reputation. A scary thought, yet you do yield some influence over it.
